Literally a beautiful restaurant with the sweetest people. We walked in just to ask if they had Shirley temple and the owner was so kind and gave us two for free because it was the holiday season

Came here for ladies night with some of my girls. We had a larger group and we had NO problem sitting right down. Our server was great! The food is so good. They have Gorgonzola butter that comes with the bread. Literally FANTASTIC. The portions are HUGE!!!

We love dining at Bacaro on New Year's Eve! Got a reservation a few weeks out and came here as a party of four at 5pm on NYE. Love the balloons on the ceiling! Our waiter was nice and the service was quick. We had to ask for extra olive oil and bread as it just wasn't enough for four. Same for our fried calamari appetizer - the marinara cup was barely anything. Nonetheless, the bread was warm and the calamari was great. Everyone loves their entrees as usual. My rigatoni vodka never disappoints. They have one of the best on the island!! For dessert, I ordered the chocolate cup with gelato (who wouldn't love a chocolate cup?), my husband ordered the brownie bites and I can't remember what my friend ordered but she loved it. Another great experience at Bacaro.

My favorite Italian restaurant. A Massapequa staple! Service is always great. Owner Tom is very sweet and hospitable. We started with Thai-Talian Fritto Misto. It was Thai style calamari, shrimp, and scallops in a Thai peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious. My husband and I barely tapped into this huge portion. I tried the salmon nero which was served over a bed of arugula. It was packed with flavor - notes of citrus which was refreshing and light. Salmon cooked just right. My husband got our favorite usual dish... Lasagna! Some other honorable mentions from past visits are the lobster baked clams and eggplant balls! The portions are huge so you get your money's worth. Awesome staff and food! Go and you will not be disappointed!

I came here to hear a band I knew with my ex-boyfriend's mom, and two of my other friends. Bacaro is pricey but it's pretty good. Who am I kidding, isn't everything pricey these days. I don't know if they work all their live music out like this but the band was small and played by the window at the end of the bar. No one really danced but they didn't play dancing music more like easy listen to music while you eat music. I got burrata with tomatoes and arugula on toasted bread. It was good but if I didn't have bread to fill up on before eating more bread it wouldn't have been enough for me to eat because I was in an eating more phase at the time. I go through phases where I can stuff so much down and other phases I like because I lose weight and I just can't eat a lot. It was an appetizer sized portion so it was expected to be small because most people don't order appetizers as their main meal, I tend to do that a lot though because the portions are smaller and cheaper. When I've got more money I'd come back to bacaro to actually eat their pasta.
